New client has been created to connect people in the Greater Manchester area, so that they can help each other out and make money at the same time. The premise of its creator is simple: to encourage local people to help their own neighbours, earn a little extra cash and build up a community spirit once more. The programme I’m managing combines a number of tactics. Traditional PR tells the story of the site and the people it is helping, while social is helping to build up the community across a number of channels and share those stories further through blog content and coverage sharing. Online and print advertising and advertorials across leading NW titles aim to drive people to the site, while community and event sponsorship will encourage brand recognition.
