New client Lets Go Global is the first ever art and media service in the UK to spin out of a local authority. The organisation uses the power of digital technology and tangible art in the community for people to create positive change – and has brought millions of pounds into the northwest to help engage people in arts and cultural activity. The team represented The London 2012 Olympics by launching the start of Game Times in the region with an award-winning project Looping the Loop; animated Manchester’s iconic Town Hall building and created an app for people to share creative work around the 100 year commemorations of the First World War. My Charity PR brief for the charity will be to promote the work on a local and national level, targeting regional and trade media.
