World Cup fever may have begun, but it’s all about a different sport at Ruth Wilson PR today, thanks to a brief to help promote a new golf training system that’s coming to the northwest.
It’s bringing back lots of memories of the European Tour’s British Masters Golf Tournament, a past client and an event that first led to a professional and personal interest in the game. A 17-year old Rory McIlroy had turned professional the day before and was obviously one to watch – the media certainly showed an interest in him at that event and rightly so!
Having enjoyed working with a number of sports brands in the worlds of football, cycling and tennis, it’s still great to be writing about golf again.
