One of Europe’s leading manufacturers of bedding products hired Ruth to work as an extension to the in-house team and promote its filled products (pillows, duvets and sleeping bags) for its licensed brands, Silentnight and Sealy. This meant working closely with the client for a number of years to manage a busy press office activity across the national and regional consumer media. Highlights included launching the first pillow made of recycled plastic bottles, having the products endorsed by most leading daytime TV programmes, launching the Silentnight nursery range and generating regular coverage in national newspapers and magazines – and causing the Silentnight anti-snore pillow to sellout, through so much coverage!
